This is really exciting for Ethereum. I think this is positive and we'll see the price increase by year end. Today ETH is about $2,700. There are only about 12 hours left before this is implemented.

Well, this is a big surprise. It appears GameStop, the meme stock, just went live with their NFT website.

It doesn't have much except that they're looking to hire a team. 

What's really intriguing is that there's an Ethereum wallet address (0x13374200c29C757FDCc72F15Da98fb94f286d71e) -- a subtle nod to the gaming crowd: 1337 = leet (as in elite) and 420 = well, weed.

The reddit founder, Alexis Ohanian, recently changed his Twitter handle to reflect a pretty cool .eth web address.

You can register your own .eth domain too, but the gas fee right now is over $200 for a $5/year domain name. 

This seems either the beginning of the .com domain names or the AOL keywords fad. What do you think this will be in 5 years? 10 years?

I've been a firm HODLer believer since I got started with crypto (which is only a few months), but with the quick rise in BAT, I feel it's time for me to temporarily unload my holdings. This is my first time transferring an ERC-20 token to Gemini so I had to spend gas on the Ethereum network. A few takeaways:

• Gas is used to fuel all ERC-20 transfers
• You pay Gas in ETH, despite transferring ERC-20 tokens
• Gas prices fluctuate every single minute, so what you saw as "normal gas prices" when sending your transfer may change by the time it reaches the Ethereum network
• Failed transfers consume gas, but you still get to keep your ERC-20 (those don't leave your wallet)
